Code of Conduct

Boca Juniors USA offers players an unrivaled exposure to the professional game. It is a competitive environment that allows players to prosper.
By pursuing excellence at all times both on and off the field, we aim to guide players to reach their full potential. Through the highest possible standard of coaching we will foster a life-long love and respect for the game.
- Boca Juniors Academy USA, will create a soccer culture that produces only the highest quality of individuals and teams.
- Boca Juniors USA will always put the development of individuals before the results of games.
- We will produce young players with the skills & attributes needed to play soccer at the highest level through high quality coaching.
- We endeavor to develop balanced young people by teaching, instilling & up-holding the Club's Values and Culture.
- We will provide an unrivaled level of exposure to the professional game.
- All staff members will work together to support the needs of the players toward the common goal of creating a pathway from the Academy to the highest level possible.

We DO NOT GUARANTEE playing time or specific position in games, tournaments or League.
Minimum of 48 hours to speak about a game’s situation; no exceptions allowed.

Players need earn their spot on every game based on the Coach’s decision (this applies to any kind of game; scrimmage, League or tournament).

Players

- All practices are MANDATORY. Do not expect to play if you don't attend practice. Mandatory assistance: 90% of the training sessions.
- Be on time. At least 15 minutes before training starts.
- Wear training gear to every practice. Team’s T-Shirt, Shorts, & Warm-up.
- Bring running shoes and cleats to every practice.
- Wear shin guards and soccer socks. MANDATORY.
- Warm-up starts exactly at specified training time.
- Social conversations will only be allowed before training, during water breaks, and after practice.
- During water breaks we jog to get water and we jog when we are called back to our next drill.
- If you are injured, you are still expected to be at trainings, games, and tournaments unless other arrangements have been made with the coach.
- If you cannot continue to train because of an injury, you are to approach the coach to let him know your problem.
- Never confront anyone, especially referees, other team players or staff.
- Do not speak with anyone but coaching staff.
- Respect your coach, teammates, and parents.
- No talking back to anyone on the coaching staff. If you have any questions or concerns please speak with the coach. There is no place for bad attitudes on this team. - Work to improve your personal abilities everyday at training and at home.
- If you have any issues I encourage you (the player) to talk to the coach. He is here to HELP you so he will be available for you. It could be anything. - - It is better to discuss something that concerns you than to let it continue to bother you.
- Attendance will be taken. Good attendance can help you. Bad attendance can hurt you.
- If you cannot make training, you must email or call us in advance. Contact information: info@usboca.com or 516 780 7077
- Players who abuse the rules will be informed or warned and if it continued, there will be repercussions.
- Conduct yourself like a good citizen on and off the field. How you carry yourself is a reflection on us as the coaches.
- Always check your email to see if there are any changes to any schedule. Our main source of communication is through email/ app.
- NO CELL PHONES/IPODS at trainings, games, team meetings or tournaments while we are together as a team. You must wait until dismissed.
- Be on time! Everyone needs to be at the field 60 minutes before the game starts! Be dressed and ready to start warm-ups 45 minutes before the game starts! Warm- ups start 30 minutes before the game. No fooling around 45 minutes before the game. Get focused on what you have to do in the game mentally.
- You are not permitted to talk about a game unntil 48 hours have passed from the end of the game, OR until the next training session.
- If you would like to speak to the coach about the game or any other matter, you must send an email to info@usboca.com

Parents

- All practices are MANDATORY. Do not expect your kid to play if he doesn't attend practice. Mandatory assistance: 90% of the training sessions.
- Be on time. At least 15 minutes before training starts.
- We encourage the players to communicate with their coach, so we would appreciate if you refrain from providing your personal feedback. Parents are not allowed to talk to the coach.
- Respect other parents and all players.
- Parents need to be on the opposite sideline from the coach.
- Respect the team players/ staff and the opponent’s team players/ staff as well.
- You are not allowed to talk to the referee at any time.
- Only encourage the team, never encourage one specific player.
- Do not instruct any player, including your son/ daughter.
- Never insult others. If you do, your son/daughter will be expelled from the team. No questions asked. No refund.
- You are not permitted to talk about a game unntil 48 hours have passed from the end of the game, OR until the next training session.
- If you would like to speak to the coach about the game or any other matter, you must send an email to info@usboca.com
- YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO SPEAK WITH THE COACH BEFORE, DURING, OR AFTER THE GAME. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST.
